Posted on Yelp Jason Q.Verified I went to try Chef Hits The Streets at the West Valley Mall. I seen a lot of social media postings of this place and I wanted to give it a shot. I ordered the poke boat with half tuna half shrimp, on a bed of rice. I also ordered the açaí bowl. Food came out pretty quick, service was okay. You order through the self koisk and you wait for your order to be called. The poke boat was just alright in my opinion. The flavors were good, I like the spicy mayo, it was actually spicy. Tuna was okay. The shrimp was okay too. They use two types of shrimp big and small shrimps. I wasn't to fond about the rice. Rice wasn't like sushi rice, it was kinda plain, no type of seasoning. I also paid extra for furikake seasoning but it doesn't seem I got it. The açaí bowl was good, very fresh. Good portion size. Overall I give Chef Hits The Streets a solid 3/5 stars. I'm glad I tried it. I like the açaí bowl over the poke but that is just me.Posted on Yelp Pam B.Verified I ordered half shrimp half tuna with half rice half greens. Very flavorful and good sized portions. Appreciated that I was called by name when I picked up my order. I will definitely be back again soon.Posted on Yelp Charissa Joy A.Verified Ma ka hoʻokipa me ke aloha, loaʻa ka hui maikaʻi. No awatenmo dagiti tattao iti ayat ken kinamanangisango, maadda ti naimbag a panagkaykaysa. This wasn't just a plate of ahi poké... it felt like a little piece of Hawaiʻi brought to me. I've never had the chance to visit my grandma in Honolulu or spend time with my relatives in Maui or Kona, but somehow, tasting this brought me closer to those places. The flavors, the freshness, and the feeling behind the food made me feel like I was there -- surrounded by the aloha spirit, even miles away. It also brought me back to San Jose, to memories of my dad making ahi poké at home whenever he was in the mood to create something special. That same comfort, that same love, came through in every bite. I can honestly say this is one of the best Hawaiian ahi poké spots in town. But what makes it even more special is the people behind it. Their hospitality goes beyond just serving food -- they make you feel welcomed, like a friend, like family. Because sometimes the best meals aren't just about the taste... they're about the memories they bring back and the connections they create.Posted on Yelp Lewis Y.Verified As close to the islands as you can get from Tracy!
